WATCH: Construction of scaffolding mine craft suspended at sea
Suspended scaffolding for a new mine craft that was built at sea is causing problems at sea.
The U.S. Coast Guard says a vessel in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday pulled the suspension scaffolding.
It’s not clear what caused the problem.
The Coast Guard also said the ship was conducting a safety review.
The Associated Press is not naming the vessel.
The Federal Maritime Administration has ordered the ship to be towed out of the area.
